Ms. White’s class simply wanted to do something from the heart this year that got the kids thinking of others. One of her students, Kaitlyn Raines, listens to The Bobby Bones Show on iheart radio every morning. They started a campaign or movement called Pimpin Joy when Amy (a co-host’s) mom was battling cancer a few years ago. They donate and raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to St. Jude’s in Memphis.
Ms. White’s class wanted to “pimp some joy” and hopefully put a smile on a child’s face this holiday season in a selfless way. Ms. White’s class donated 30 DVD movies and a check for $250 that was given by Strike Construction to Texas Children’s Hospital.
Below, is a picture of Kaitlyn Raines delivering the DVDs and check to Texas Children’s Hospital.
