Harvey Relief update...Huffman Proud, Huffman Strong!
What we know: 166 Huffman ISD students (97 families/166 students) have been displaced because of the Harvey flooding in our area; 24 staff members lost all/most of what they had in their homes (this includes teachers, custodians, transportation, maintenance, campus, and food service staff). Most immediate needs have been met, thanks to YOU and so many compassionate, loving donors! So many affected by Harvey are still recovering and continue to need our help...
What we need at this time:
1. NEW sweatpants, sweatshirts, hoodies/jackets (all sizes) - (We are no longer accepting used clothing.)
2. NEW pillows, linens, blankets (variety of bed sizes)
3. NEW pajamas (all sizes)
4. NEW sports bras (all sizes)
5. Shoes for toddlers and infants
6. Baby food
7. Detergent and dish soap
8. Mosquito repellant
Donations may be dropped off at Huffman ISD admin building with the receptionist, Mon-Thu,7:45-4:35 and Fri, 7:30-4:00. Monetary donations may be made by texting HUFFMAN to 41444 (Huffman Education Foundation Harvey Relief Fund). Free tshirt with $25 donations.
