Debt Obligations

As part of our continuing commitment to transparency and accountability to our community, and in accordance with the Texas Comptroller's Transparency Star Program criteria for local governments, Huffman ISD maintains summary information about its outstanding debt.

Debt Service Financial Summary

The following debt service financial summary is current as of the 2016-2017 budget year. Huffman ISD's total outstanding debt obligations as of 6/30/2016 are $40,474,996. 


On May 7, 2016, community members living in the Huffman ISD voted to approve a $44,100,000 school bond with a 66 percent approval rate. In September 2016 the district issued $9.5 million of those bonds, and in March 2017 the district issued $25 million of those bonds.
