Adding Absence Requests in Family Access
You can add absence requests for your child to indicate a day or range of days your student will not be in school. This is helpful so you can add absence requests for your child via Family Access instead of being required to call the school to enter an absence request on your behalf. For example, if your child will be out sick for the day, or if your child will be gone due to a family vacation, you can enter an absence request to indicate these details
Select the Attendance tile within Family Access
Select the Absence Requests tab near the top left of the screen.

Click Add Absence Request.

Complete the appropriate fields. You can also add any Dr notes or absence documentation by selecting Select File or dragging and dropping the file.
If you have a supporting document for the absence after the absence has been created, open the absence request and select Attachments in the bottom left corner.

Click Add Attachment to upload your documentation.

Once you have uploaded the file(s), select “Save” and close the window.
