Returning Student Registration
Huffman ISD is excited to announce an update to our returning student registration process that utilizes Skyward Family Access to enroll your Returning Student for the upcoming school year. Returning students are defined as students who were enrolled in Huffman ISD at the end of the 2022-2023 school year. All parents and guardians should verify and update their child's information before the first day of school on August 9th.
Please don’t delay in completing this annual update so we can keep you informed of all campus and district news, such as afterschool programs, bus transportation, schedules and all of the services you and your students rely on.
When registering online, please allow 15-30 minutes to complete the online process.
Documents Needed for Online Enrollment at All Campuses
- Proof of residency
- Immunization records (if your child received any new vaccinations)
Proof of Residency
Texas law states that only minors whose parents/guardians reside within the boundaries of the school district are entitled to attend school in that district, unless approved for a transfer. If the address needs to be changed a new proof of residency will be required and must be provided for enrollment by uploading to the registration form or sending to the campus registrar. Uploading Proof of Residency is no longer required for returning student with no address change. Usual accepted proof of residency maybe one or more of the following:
- Current household utility statement or application such as gas, electricity, water, or Internet) in the name of the parent/guardian showing and address within District boundaries
- Valid, fully executed lease or rental agreement stating the property address, list of occupants, name of property owner, beginning date of lease, and signature of both parties
- Current mortgage statement or payment book
